The Loke set consists of:

  • Loke pendant and Tyr spot luminaires
  • A Biocentric lighting control box
  • A wireless light switch
  • A dynamic light recipe designed for office use

Depending on the size of your table, you can choose between different numbers of luminaires.

Biocentric lighting Loke pendants and Tyr spotlights create a complete light environment for the entire room. A Biocentric lighting environment is provided for the people sitting around the meeting room table. Simply mount the luminaires in the drop-down ceiling, plug in the power and mount the wireless switch. The light switch uses an energy-harvesting technology where the energy needed to control the light is generated with the push of a button. No cables, no batteries and it can be placed anywhere.

Biocentric lighting luminaires included in this set:

Loke

Loke

The BrainLit Loke is a dynamic LED pendant that combines independently controlled task and general lighting. Placement and direction of emission allows for very high intensities (7000lm) without causing eye discomfort. At the same time it is conveniently placed in any ceiling type.

Tyr

Tyr

Tyr is a built-in spot with a slightly lower brightness to be able to create BCL environments with a wider light dimension. It is often used as accent lighting in combination with brighter luminaires.

What's mEDI?

The two most common circadian metrics used to measure and communicate the impact of light on one’s circadian rhythm are Melanopic Equivalent Daylight Illuminance (m-EDI) and Circadian Stimulus (CS). Different building and light standards use different metrics for lighting requirements. The building standard WELL recommends at least 250 lux m-EDI for at least 2 hours every day to support the circadian rhythm.
